Soil Recovery A/S was established in 1986 as a subsidiary of the Central Hazardous Waste Treatment Plant in Denmark, Kommunekemi, to develop and produce cuttings treatment plants for the oil industry. In 1989 the company sold its first plant, and soon after Soil Recovery A/S started work on the development of its container-based incineration plants which were launched in 1995. Containers for the transportation of waste from the offshore oil industry were developed in 1997.

Today, Soil Recovery A/S has established itself as the world’s leading waste-treatment company with a wide range of products and single source solutions to meet the demand for environmentally compatible waste-treatment plants. The services offered by Soil Recovery A/S cover primarily high-technology container-based incineration plants designed for the treatment of hazardous waste from, for example, the oil and chemical industries. The company’s key products also includ thermal treatment and separation plants for the treatment of drill cuttings, heavy oils and API sludges. These plants are available in two models: the standard Model 300 and the more advanced Model 500.
